Sydney Says...

Well now that Bobby has popped the blog's virtual cherry, I will ramble a little.

Although, I must admit that I am nervous now after reading Bobby's words. You write just like a novelist Bobs. I always worry I write like I talk (which means that people will get lost or just laugh at the nonsense... sigh) or I write like a flouncy PR rep. You two let me know.

I am smitten with my internship. The people are super friendly and have lovely little conversations with me. The Editor-in-Chief, Clint, is wonderful and really, really talented. My supervisor, Sejal, is so sweet and very smart. I fly through little projects and hope I am making a good impression. I literally have complete control over their blog. I have two posts ready for review and then... -fingers crossed-... they will be published. And I will be a real blogger. I even made amateur graphics to go along with my entries. I am VERY nervous my supervisor will loathe them. We will see tomorrow!

I miss you two as well... I get lonely sometimes. The only other reallllllly good bestie I have around is Ann and she, love her, is not an avid communicator. So it is hard to make plans and I don't want to pester her to death like I do you two.

I get invited to all this neat stuff around Atlanta, but never want to go alone. I think I will go to this High Museum of Art media preview day next week though! Write up a blog post on it. And one of Atlanta's luxe restaurants is having a Mad Men-themed happy hour special in June. Dying to try! $10 for a classy cocktail and delish appetizer. :D Wish I could drag you two with me. D:

I guess Pat's up to bat now. I use too many cliches. Oh well.
