Though to be honest, the iPhone is a close second best on Verizon, and will probably be the best again when the new one comes out. Verizon has seriously crappy phones.
AT&T =/ Look how well designed the HTC One X and Nokia Lumia 900 are. I don't understand this obsession with rectangular slab of glass most modern phones use as inspiration.
